Razer 2016, Charger plugged in and not charging (BATTERY ISSUE PLEASE HELP ME)

    Hi Guys,

    Really need some advice what to do. To begin with, here are the laptop details.

    2016 Razer Blade
    Intel Core I7-6700HQ Quad Core Processor
    GTX 1060
    16GB System Memory
    Windows 10
    512 SSD
    14in, 3200x1800, IGZO QHD+

    Ok, so I usually play Dota2. If I'm not plugging my laptop, it will only last for 1 game and I'll be low on battery. So to prevent that, I'll plug in the charger most of the time. However, recently, I noticed that even when the charger is plugged in, it will say that it's not charging. So from a 100percent of battery, it drains to 10percent even if the charger is plugged in! Most of the time, this happens when I'm playing a game. And then, if I exit the game, it will continue charging. I really think that this shouldn't be happening. I mean that is what the charger is for right?

    I only got this laptop last Nov 2016. And no downloads have been made except for steam and dota2. I bought a cooling pad and so I don't think it's because of the heat. Please let me know what to do.

    Since Razer Insider is not a support forum, I'll be locking this up after my response. :)

    I'm sorry you're having issues with your laptop, I don't think this normal and it sounds like there's something else going on. So, what I recommend is that you contact Razer Customer Support and get their help with it. They'll be able to help you pin down where the problem is and where to go with the issue afterwards. Fortunately, unless it's damaged by yourself somehow, everything ought to be covered under warranty still.

    If you contact support and do not hear back from them within 2-5 days, then please contact RΛZΞR | RaptureHearts with your Case ID# (which will be found on the auto respond e-mail you'll receive telling you that Razer has received your support ticket) and let her know your basic issue, the Case ID# and that you'd like assistance because it's been so long since you sent in the ticket. One way or another things will be handled.
