You can save profiles that have macro mapped onto the buttons, but you need to have Synapse running in the background for the macro to function.

Hi there,

One thing about Synapse and Profiles though.

Is there a way to have a default profile set on your mouse/keyboard for Windows desktop?
Other than binding it to Explorer.exe which creates a whole set of weird behavioral issues?

Right now, I have a set of games that run off 1 profile, another which runs on a second profile.
And I bind Explorer to a 3rd profile.

But the overall behavior is kinda inconsistent and weird.

Sometimes when I start a certain game, the profile doesn't change to the one tied to that game. At other times it does. And when I quit the game, it doesn't go back to default unless I specifically start the Folder/Explorer icon.

I tie some macros to each profile, and it's annoying to have to manually toggle them when they're already supposedly linked.

But the worse thing is the inconsistency. Even the profile button on the Basilisk doesn't work some times. Worse, there's no such profile switch button on the BW Elite, and I have to click on Synapse just to switch between them if they get stuck somehow.

Any suggestions?
