Razer Blackshark V2 Mic not working

I recently bought a blavkshark v2 from Amazon, it arrived and to my surprise the microphone didn't work. I went through tons of troubleshooting, and no, the mic isn't muted on the back of one of the ear muffs. Currently I'm compensating why i spent 100$ on a headset without a working mic. The rest of the headset is fine, it's just that the mic doesn't work at all. My computer can read it, but it won't allow any audio to come from it. I set it as default on my computer, aswell as discord, which is what I'm using it on. Please let me know any gaurenteed fixes. I can't seem to find a working answer from Google or reddit, and this is my last hope before I return them. thanks
