At first, when I first received the headset, I did everything the instructions asked me to. However, my mic wouldn't work. I tried turning off and on my headset and then I couldn't hear sound either. I tried looking up solutions (I tried deleting the devices in device manager (everything- I also accidentally deleted thx spatial audio because it was a part of it. It didn't come back when I replugged the headset.) and I also restarted my PC a couple of times). Nothing worked and I lost some parts I think. I also tried installing the Firmware Setup but pairing failed for some reason. I tried this twice. Please help me with this. Please help me fix everything I lost and fix my mic and sound.

Hey there! Sorry for the mishap. Have you tried clean reinstalling the Razer Synapse and 7.1 Surround Sound? Should the issue persists, please send me a PM together with your device's serial number. I'll pick it up from there.

Make a clean uninstall of synapse

1-go to "add or remove programs" uninstall Synapse (all versions, if already uninstalled, then move to next step)
2-press windows key+ R and type in: %temp% and delete everything inside.
3-press windows key+ R and type in: %appdata% and delete Synapse folder.
4-press windows key+ R and type in: C:\\ProgramData and delete RAZER folder
5-download and run (*Omitted)
Find string: Razer inc
Matching: Exact Match
Scan the following base keys: select all HKEY

Press Scan and wait for result- select all keys found - and delete them.

6-Restart PC
7-Download Latest Razer Synapse 3 and install
8-Download THX Spatial Audio and install.
9-Restart PC.

I appreciate the steps. However, I have to remove the link under your item number five. It may contain files that could potentially harm other user's computers and/or mobile devices. Please refer to our house rules.

Hey Anxzipher. Was everything covered? Feel free to update this thread or send me a PM.

hi yes it could harm by wrong usage, bcuz its a registry editor, but the app it self is clean.

I agree. If other users have no idea how to use it and accidentally deleted the registry folder, it could mess up the laptop's operating system. Anyhow, it's the user's discretion if they wanted to use your suggested registry scanning software.

I got a similar problem. My THX Spatial Audio did not work at start so i uninstalled the device and drivers and had the same problem that i did not get the THX Spatial Audio in the device manager. Now my sound is full stereo what is even worse than only not having the THX Spatial Audio.

Is your step 8 the right way? because THX Spatial Audio was included in the Headset and came with the headset and not the external software from razer that you can buy for 25€. btw your link did not work thats why i am refering to the external THX Spatial Audio from Razer that you have to buy or use the free trial version.

just want the confirmation on this bevor i try it.
also did remove all synapse already but forgot the temp and appdata and program data folders wil ltry that now.
But i want confirmation on the THX Spatial Audio part before i waste a free trial i maybe want or have to use later in the future.

Thanks
