Hai, This is my first purchase of razer product. I bout the V2 pro because I want to have wireless headset. But I am sorry to say that this headphone that the imaging while you are on FPS game is a bit okward, for my ears has bad imaging and bad passive sound staging.
The THX is a joke, and i think every 7.1 surround in all headset is bad....but no complain I don't use it also in every headphone I bought.
2 games I always play COD MW and BF V. while setting I have made and tune is to bring down the bass of the headset I still has a hard time hearing footsteps. The footstep that I am hearing most is my own, and even there is a enemy footstep is so light, hard to pinpoint and also the enemy has to be very close to your position so that you can hear it, but it will always be to late. same as BF V, which I think it has the best audio in any game...this also hard to hear, This Headphone pick up so many details/ambient in the game, that it losses the detail of the most important part in FPS, footstep
My setting are in Audio Equalizer, Turn Off the THX, Custom Preset
1, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (First is the 31HZ)
Bass Boost (Off)
Sound Normalization 70
Voice clarity (Off)
And one more thing, the Side tone, is a joke....in non exsistence....for 180 USD Gaming headphone is really a joke
the only thing that i like this headphone is that it fits my head (I have wide head) and thats the only point that first thing I bought, but after returning home and try it out, what a nightmare.
I am not toxing these headphone but just sharing my thought, I have a lot of gaming headphone before and I believe for my ears this is the worst price to ration product I have purchase.
May be U guys can give a shot my setting or do you have any recommendation of EQ for this headphone, I am no expert in this brand may be u guys have better experience then I am.

Same for me, I bought it a week ago and i didn´t know what to say.The Sound was just bad, just bad, and I don´t know why. I played with the equalizer, but I couldn´t manage to make it sound equal for a 200 Euro Headset. The Mic too, i tried to fix it with a friend, but it still is bad.

I believe this headset is best when you are playing Open world game not competitive, I have Steelseries Pro + game dac, when I tried to plug to 3.5mm game dac, the sound is much open not from inside. But u still need to bring down the bass cause this headphone has more base then high.
Dont use THX spartan...it just give you more verb on steroid is a gimic,
For this price and Esporta brand is kind of disappointing, especialy the side tone...u can;t hear your own voice.....even cheap Arctic Headphone has good side tone.
Thinking to sell it off actually if I still can't find the EQ setting that i want.

Today i gave it back and bought the Logitech G Pro X Wireless. Sound especially music is better, the mic and software too. My mouse and former headset are Logitech.

(Good For you, Unfortunately, in my country you cannot return the product and I have to sell it first, I am planning the same sell it and buy G pro X wireless ( in My region is just launch 1 week ago), I use Logitech G pro X keyboard and also G pro X supper light, they have great software and changing profile in and out is precise, the Balckshark now currently inside the bos, and changing bcak to my Arctis pro + Game dac waiting to be sold...

I used the Razer Kraken kitty edition headset for myself to play COD MW, same issue to hearing any footstep as you describe. Every time got killed by not hearing anything!
But the THX audio system is excellent for music, it just shows the beauty of the base and all the levels of the sound. I think it meant to be non-gaming..... how ironic it is:eek_:

Well what I think if you are playing other then FPS competitive maybe is for fit because what i hear from my ears, the ambient Nosie from the game do stand out more, so playing like say Monster hunter type of game would be nice, and what you are saying about the THX is nice for music....and when u say it meant to be a non gaming , well there are selling with the brand "E sport headphone" so would it be gaming headphone....
I never tried Razer Kraken before but try using my setting and tune to your liking hopefully it works in the kraken
From my point of view Arctic Pro is still 3x better headset for Competitive play and would be better if you use the gaming dac from steelseries.

these are the games I have tried, One thing that i have realize that if the game has dramatic ambient background noise these headphone does emphasize it and picking up every detail in game sound. does is good for open world game. Maybe since the driver has good quality that is why some are not suitable for that particular game, like COD MW and also BF series....but if the game has more prominent on footstep and less background/ambient noise...that this headset does bring out the detail more on the footstep and the pintpoint is good, since there is no distraction on ambient/background noise.
I would love to compare apple to apple with the G pro X and also the GSP 370......too bad my friend does not has these headphone yet.....
