Razer Blackshark V2 USB Sound Card not working

I have just bought this. Upon the first try everything was going fine, until the little green light went off. After that I couldn't hear anything, but in the control panel it showed as if it was working just fine. I know that the headset works because it has no problems when I am using the 3.5 mm jack (apart from the unhearably quiet mic).

Have you tried connecting the headset to another USB port? Try connecting the headset only to your computer or another device and check if the issue persists.
