Hello fellow razer fans..so i'm looking to buy a Blackwidow chroma. My problem is i've been noticing there is a Blackwidow chroma and a Blackwidow chroma ultimate? I do have a friend who has the Razer Blackwidow Chroma (which seems normal and it's what it says on the box) though he doesn't even know the difference between the normal and the blackwidow ultimate chroma. From what i've seen they look identical. In addition on the razer site i only see 1 type of Blackwidow and that's the chroma. Then I see on youtube reviews that some people have the Razer Blackwidow ultimate chroma on their box. So the main question is what is the difference between the 2?

Will need to know before i go out and get myself one :)

    Thanks!

There is no such thing as a Ultimate and non Ultimate Chroma. All black widow chroma keyboards are ultimate.
I'm going to assume by this you were mistaking and meant the stealth version? If that is the case, then the normal Black Widow Chroma is a little louder, and requires 50g of push power to activate a key. a Black Widow Stealth has quieter more high pitched clicky keys, which require 60g. Both are great keyboards and come down to personal preference, I personally have tried both and after this, resulted in buying the normal one, I just cant go without the amazing click noise it makes.

    Hope this helps!

(Edit) upon further inspection there is a Black Widow Ultimate Chroma, however they are EXACTLY the same, it was just renamed to Black Widow Chroma after the first shipment

No problem! :D Now go off and get your own! Can say its probably the best razer product i've ever bought! especially with the introduction of the SDK and new applications being made constantly.
