I'm just asking, where and how can we get and implement different colored switches (not Cherry MX, just between green, orange, and yellow) on a black widow chroma v2 so we can change them when we want to?

You can't change them without resoldering. But saw few people modding their keyboard to have hot-swappable mechanical keys (but it still require to unsold all mechanical keys, then solder key sockets & you only plug your mechanical key into socket).

Razer Greens / Orange / Yellows are hard to get, but saw few of them on eBay (most probably they're used, unsoldered from faulty keyboard, but not all).

If you want to retain the warranty on your keyboard, then the only way to change the switches is to buy a new keyboard with the switch you want. Otherwise, you'll have to do it yourself and risk the defective keyboard if you make a mistake, but at that point your warranty would be voided and Razer could not help out.

You would have to resolder the whole thing. Honestly it would be better to just sell your current one and get your preferred switch. If you go to Best Buy in the PC Gaming section, look for Razer Stuff and they got a little switch tester setup. Or they should, at least.

Well, I guess I'll choose wisely...
