Razer Blackwidow X Chroma - W, Q, Shift and Alt randomly not working

This started like 8 months ago. Keyboard is 4 years old and never spilled anything on it. W, Q, shift and alt keys register randomly and when they don't work I have to press them really hard to get any input. One time the led lights stopped working around the W key (like in a 2-3 key radius). I soaked the keycaps in tap water, cleaned the switches with isopropyl alcohol and sprayed the keyboard with compressed air, and nothing worked, I still have the same issues.

Is it time for a new keyboard? Thanks

I can see this as both hardware and/or software issue.

Best way to confirm if it is a hardware issue is to connect the keyboard to a different PC with no Synapse installed and see if the keys respond better. If the keys respond properly than it is a software issue on your PC, otherwise you will need a new keyboard, or see a key switch specialist.

The reason why it could be a software issue, is because the driver program or the OS source files are compromised, causing delay in the button to respond. This is a very rare scenario to happen, but that is what the computer viruses can do.
Software issue can be somewhat challenging, because the issue can vary from the followings and it is difficult to pin point the exact issue.
* Synapse
* OS

Start off with checking that Synapse and OS versions are updated.
Reset any configuration you have made on Synapse to default settings.
Uninstall and reinstall Synapse.
Create a new user and see if it responds better (old user profile compromised).
Diagnose your OS, run anti-virus and repair the OS.
Worst case, reinstall the OS and start from the beginning.

Good luck
