I got it from my local store here at Poland :) Yeah it seems I was lucky, and to be honest I was 100% sure that mine are Kailh's.

Looks like Razer isn't re-packaging / creating new sales boxes for keyboards made with the Greetech switch. I just bought a TE Chroma and on the box it states © 2015 and 60 million key strokes, but it comes with the Greetech switch.

Here to note is that the switches on my BW X Chroma sounded a lot more crisp than the ones in my TE, but that could be due to missing bezel on the X.
  3. i think i might just give back my razer blackwidow x and buy a razer blackwidow chroma TE from razer's website

If the switches are bothering you, I would say go for it,
Very early to have discontent with the product. Both very nice keyboards.
Hope everything works out for you.

I recently purchased the original BlackWidow Tournament Chroma during the Black Friday sale directly from the Razer store and I got Greetech switches, so you should be alright if you're buying directly from Razer.

On the Carton, how many Key strokes does it state, 60 or 80 million? Because I really start to believe that Razer rolled out a "green switch 2.0".

60 million on the box, they haven't updated the boxes yet and they probably won't but on their website, every keyboard with green switches says 80 million and two year warranty up from the previous 60 million + 1 year warranty. The box still has the old "Razer" logo as well but the newer logo on the USB cable.

As for the switches themselves, they feel and sound the same as they do on my BW: X Chroma.

Well, thanks a lot for clearing that up. I really felt like the sound and feel was a bit better on my BW X Chroma (sold it the same day I got my TE), but I guess its coming from the alu chassis and missing bezel. I'm really thankful I got my hands on a Greetech TE, these switches are night and day compared to the Kailh switches (rip my BW 2014).

Yeah, most likely the metal frame on the BW: X is what's making it sound slightly different. If you tap the metal frame on the BW: X, it sort of makes an echo sound which is probably why it sounds different when you bottom out the keys.

How does one tell the difference between the Greetech and the Kailh switches besides the feel?

The switch housing looks similar to Cherrys, I quickly made some pictures for comparison. Damn my 2013 is nasty.
