    BW Chorma or Chroma X

    I would prefer Blackwidow Chroma or Blackwidow Ultimate 2016.

    Get a tournament edition keyboard, as to which keyboard see which switches you prefer and the design and your budget. A blackwidow tournament edition would be sufficient, but if you want something more awesome, be sure to get the chroma.

    BW chromas are great, mech keys for shooters for me. As for tournament edition or full size, depends on your preference. Tournament edition is less desk space, or if you like the distance of your hands close together, for mouse and wasd keys. Numpads can be useful for number inputting, and with chroma more lights.

    It's good to see someone else around here who understands the benefits of TE. But don't forget, it's travel-friendly too! For people who have their cables neatly hidden via cable management, cleaning a full-size BlackWidow is a chore because you have to undo everything to unplug the keyboard (reason why I always put it off). With the TE, you can just detach the mini-usb cord from the keyboard and you're good to go. Comes with a neat ballistic nylon carrying case too :)

  7. Does the TE really only have 1 usb? I have the full sized BW and every time I need to move it I have to unplug 4 wires and it doesn't help that I also have a million other wires behind my computer already

    I have the X tournament edition and I can confirm it only has 1 usb.

    What I'm not sure is if its a 2.0 or 3.0, I've looked everywhere but I get a lot of conflicting answers.

    I bought BW TE for the same reason, more space on the desk plus keyboard and mouse is closer, it's more comfortable for me :D
    Yes, TE has only one USB port cause it doesn't have additional usb hubs and 3.5mm jack on the side. And of course you can unplug the cable from keyboard it self, super usefull when you want to clean your keyboard, but you also don't want to move whole PC just to unplug keyboard ;)
    Well to be honest, it has no diffrence if it is 2.0 or 3.0. USB 3.0 can be used in chroma keyboards because of higher power (4.5w) than USB 2.0 (2.5w), but I'm not 100% sure if Chroma need so much power. One thing about I'm sure is that you can plug your keyboard into 2.0 or 3.0 and it will work just fine ;)

    Ya, ur right, I plugged it into the 3.0 port even though I wasn't sure and it works just fine.

    Now I have to save up for the razer leviathan mini to go along with my death adder, Blackwidow and firefily to complete my razer set up. :cool_:

    i see lots of different comments, but ill just state my personal preference, the BW tenkeyless In other word the tournament edition, i personally go often to lans and i love the razer switches together with the easy ''carriability'' of the BW chroma Tournament edition.

    Preach it :clap::clap::clap:

    Hi Deathsquadfire. It does not have USB or Audio pass-through like the full-size BW. So the only thing that plugs into the BW TE is a single mini-USB cord. The cool thing is that you can disconnect it from the keyboard (unlike the full-size BW cord which is permanently attached). IIRC, the BW X TE does not have a removable cord though, only the original line.
