I got a 2017 razer blade qhd/gtx1060 around the end of June. After about four months of using it where the battery was at a stable estimated 6-7hours, it suddenly decayed and now my battery life is max 2 hours with battery saver on. I have been using it for gaming (lol, csgo, r6) and some video editing (adobe elements package) and coding (brackets). What can I do to fix my battery life and have it go back up to the original 6-7 hours?

Razer battery life has been an issue from day 1. They last maybe a year, and if you want it replaced they charge $300 labor to start (plus the replacement battery). They use proprietary batteries so it is a risk to not go through them.

Razer batteries and power supplies are more than sub par so be aware you will have an on-going cost to maintain them, or as their customer support suggests "you can always keep it plugged in".
