So I stumbled upon this youtube video:

Decided to download Intel XTU (Extreme Tuning Utility) and run it on my 2017 Blade with Kaby Lake i7. Undervolted my CPU by -0.100V and ran a few stress tests to make sure it was stable. Average temperature dropped by 10-15 degrees F under load. Charged it to full and managed to get around 8-8.5 hours of battery life from standard usage (web browsing, watching videos, etc.). Fan noise also dropped noticeably even when under load; does not go into full spin unless under extreme load.

Blade seems to perform exactly the same after undervolting and performance improved drastically.

Exactly. Battery life is really stellar with this Blade. Undervolting by -.100V is gravy and makes it even better.
