So I dropped my Razer Blade 14" FHD (2017) (No, my name isn't Linus :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:). The internals are all ok, screen, webcam and microphone all work perfectly. The problem is: The screen unit is bent so it doesn't open anymore without using force. I would call the bottom part of the chassis pretty ok, it has some small dents (no real dents, only scratched-off paint on one edge) and otherwise the laptop is also just fine. It's just the opening mechanism due to the bent corner (around 3mm).
What do you guys think will the repair cost be like? Below 200€?

Wow sorry to hear that, if it’s about body parts replacement it’ll be more expensive I think. Did you try contact support? Usually you should send it first and they will give you price estimation for repair if it’s too expensive you can deny it though.

Why are body part replacements so expensive? It's just aluminum. Fancy cut and painted aluminum, but still aluminum. I already contacted the support and they should answer until tomorrow so I'll sit here and wait but until that moment comes I still can't use my laptop and I'm worried about it being too expensive because for me, 200€ are the most I can do and if it's more expensive, I can't use my laptop anymore which is sad because it technically works just fine and I really need it for school. Let's see.

I saw recently screen replacement also took over that price, though it is just my guess i hope it’ll inside your budget. And I hope you get also nice support that could help solve the issue somehow, I’ve good experience with them, you’re from Germany right?
