I have the same issue. It was totally working before some update was released, but they won't admit to which one it is. I've attempted to contact the CEO and support, but support just keeps telling me they'll send me a free 230 watt charger, which is not the issue. I said that I want to know why it was working previously and stopped. We have two of these Blade 14s, and the behavior is consistent between both of them. They are unwilling to help. I'm going to be contacting the appropriate government agencies and I will also determine if a class action suit against Razer is warranted for intentionally disabling their products from working with non Razer docks/chargers. I've purchased a competitor's laptop at this point, and I want my money back. I will never purchase another Razer product again as long as I live.
This is the garbage answer support will give you:
Razer is wholeheartedly refusing to help, and when I posted the issue in here, blocked my account from posting without moderator approval so that I couldn't show you all just how terrible their support is. They aren't going to support their products, and they intentionally block third party devices from working.

They aren't going to help, nor do they care:

Hi, Joshua.

Warm greetings from Razer!

This is Sheila, part of the Razer VIP Response Team and one of those overseeing your case.

I understand your position and I'm truly sorry for this mishap. However, please note that Razer Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • problems with and/or damage to the Product caused by using accessories, parts, or components not made by Razer;
  • Razer does not warrant that the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. ALL SOFTWARE AND THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS AND ACCESSORIES PROVIDED WITH THE PRODUCT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS". You assume the entire risk as to the quality, performance, accuracy and effect of such items, and should any prove defective, you, and not Razer, assume the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair.

In line with that, the best that we can offer is to send a Power Adapter compatible to your unit. Moreover, your feedback shall be forwarded to our management as well.

Should you need further assistance and clarifications, just send us an email (through this thread) and we will be here more than happy to help you.

Thank you for contacting Razer. Have an awesome day ahead.

All the best,
Razer VIP Response Team
