Hello,
Is it possible to upgrade the 16GB Dual-Channel (8GB x 2) DDR4-2933MHz ?
Can i change for 64GB Dual-Channel (32GB x 2) DDR4 ?
And is the max frequency 2933MHz ?
I ask cause i easily find on the market
SODIMM - 2 x 32 Go (64 Go) - DDR4 3200 MHz - CL16
but no 64 Go (2 x 32 Go) DDR4 2933 MHz
only 32 Go (2 x 16 Go) DDR4 2933 MHz CL17 or

Thx

I believe you can upgrade to SODIMM - 2 x 32 Go (64 Go) - DDR4 3200 MHz - CL16. I do believe the voltage for the stock ram is 1.2v. I was looking at the Crucial 64GB Ballistix DDR4 3200 MHz SO-DIMM Gaming Laptop Memory Kit (2 x 32GB) but its Voltage is higher at 1.35v (which I believe is just factory overclocked) - I see others advertise that 1.2v will save you battery life but I'm not sure how much the difference really is.

I'm also looking at the G.SKILL 32GB (2 x 16G) Ripjaws DDR4 PC4-25600 3200 MHz SO-DIMM 260-Pin Laptop Memory Model F4-3200C18D-32GRS which Has a CL rating of 19. Advertises 1.2v as the power draw but after reading their website it could go up to 1.35v (I'm assuming if it was to be overclocked)

I'm leaning towards the Crucial 32gb set of 2x16s because of the CL rating...just as long as there isn't a real sacrifice in battery life.
I've also been trying to verify if intel can even handle 3200mhz as I saw on reddit someone said they can't. I'm now considering = Kingston Technology HyperX Impact 32GB 2933MHz DDR4 CL17 SODIMM (Kit of 2) Memory HX429S17IBK2/32 due to the CL17 rating and 2933mhz at 1.2v
I bought the Razer pro 17 2020 4K and also bought Crucial Ballistix SODIMM 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 Gaming Memory ......after instillation i can only see 2666 speed ....any suggestions ?
Maybe something with the bios or the Intel xmp profile. I'm not sure, I just started researching about ram recently.

I receive my hyper x ram Wednesday. I'll update on my speed. This is what the description says in the hyper x

Get your notebook or small form factor machine fully equipped with HyperX Impact DDR4 SODIMM and minimize system lag Ready for AMD Ryzen and Intel XMP-ready in capacities up to 64GB Plug N Play HyperX Impact DDR4 automatically overclocks to the highest frequency published up to 3200MHz* to support Intel and AMD’s latest CPU technologies Slot in the sleek black PCB for a hassle-free boost no need to tinker with the BIOS Upgrade your system’s performance and still run cool quiet and efficiently thanks to HyperX Impact DDR4’s low 1 2 voltage
Bios 1.3 was just released. It allows the XMP settings in the bios now if you have XMP ram installed.

Like many here, i purchased a 32GB kit of ballistix 3200 cl16. When XMP is enabled, the machine will not boot.

It simply sits at a black screen.

ALSO!!!! UNDERVOLTING IS REMOVED WIT THIS BIOS RELEASE....

THANKS RAZER
