The camera of my Razer Blade 15 (2018) Advanced Model developed different and unusual ways of not working:

In March it stopped working in the middle of a video call. Error message: No camera detected. The camera did not show up in the device manager. I updated all drivers & BIOS with the appropriate software from Razer & Intel -> Camera still did not work.

A few days later, after a small Windows update the camera suddenly worked and reappeared in the device manager. I reinstalled the camera drivers just to be sure. Since then there are several weird ways, in which my camera is not working:
1.) Sometimes it stops working in the middle of a video call or video recording, still shows up in the device manager. It mostly works again after deactivating and reactivating the camera.
2.) Sometimes the image starts flickering, with large grey and/or green disturbances in the picture. Sometimes can be solved by de- and reactivating
3.) Sometimes the picture is just grey or green. Mostly persists for some time, even with de- and reactivating it.
4.) Sometimes the camera is gone, as in no camera detected, no camera anywhere in the device manager. This usually lasts from a couple of hours to a couple of days. When it starts working, it is mostly only for a couple of minutes up to a couple of hours at this point. Sometimes a full system restart helps, and the camera is back, sometimes not. Sometimes a windows update helps, sometimes not.

In short: Most of the time my camera isn’t working, for some reason or the other. It’s difficult to tell if it’s a software or a hardware problem.
Did anybody else encounter these problems and found a fix or solution for it?

PS: My speakers also didn’t work properly from the beginning. I had crackling, scratching and popping noises. I tried multiple different drivers and a system reset etc. I had long conversation with razer customer support, sending a ridiculous number of screenshots & videos etc., only to be then told to try the Windows Troubleshooter, disregarding all the info they got from me. (I’m using an old realtek driver now, thanks to the community. It isn’t working perfectly, but at least no more crackling).
So there are now two devices not working properly in my 2k Laptop - definitely not the expected quality.

This happened to me on mine a month in - apparently its a shitty connection that either frays or disconnects over time with the lid opening and closing, so I've heard. I had my blade taken apart right now for something else (of course), so I'm going to investigate that as well.
Same exact model as you! Just posted another thread about this. I'm only getting the green and grey disturbances and sometimes weird resizing and glitching. I can't figure out what to do. Updated my drivers, etc, no fix. Really annoying.
Same, communicated with support in live chat, told to carry to the service.
Very disappointed with the Razer. But I still love their design.

And also, microphone doesnt work. (RB2018 Advanced)
Happened to me also....
same exact model..

I saw that there is a 'unknow USB device' with a yellow sing on the 'device manager'

after opening the computer and connect the laptop to external screen I saw that the 'unknow USB device' has gone.
I came to a conclusion that this is the problem. the driver ! and I ask for it.. but !
I ask from razer to send me the camera driver or somethinng, but all they say is to send them the computer.
this all can be fix if they only upload the driver.
by the way, the mic is working but he didn't realize that the camera is connected
