This is highly likely a hardware issue. Please PM me the serial number of your RB15 so I can validate the warranty status. By the way, do you mind sending over a screenshot of the camera tab on your Device Manager?

I have the same problem, the device manager does not even show the camera at all... It definitely worked before! Could this be related to a Synapse, Windows or BIOS update?

I'm afraid that this is less likely related to software issues. More often than not, a device that does not appear in the Device Manager is deemed defective. Do PM me so we can try to further isolate the issue before we jump into repair.

As of this time, apart from making sure everything is updated, there's not much that we can do but have you reset to factory settings. If that doesn't help, you'll have to send us the laptop so we can have it repaired.

I remember deleting and uninstalling my driver once because I wasn't using my camera at all. Now I need it but windows won't detect it and I cannot find a driver anywhere. I have the 15" 2018 advanced model. Any help, please?

The laptop should still be able to detect the webcam if it is a driver issue. Things usually take a turn for the worse once it disappears from the Device Manager. PM me the serial number of your laptop so I can help you further isolate the issue.

Having the same issue here, please help. Thank you.

@GARNETIristhink429 @Mannym2743 Please PM me the serial number of your laptops along with a screenshot of your BIOS version and Device Manager. I'll take it from there. *Locking this thread to push things to PMs.
