Hi I'm a new owner and want to know if its possible to set a custom fan speed lower then the options in Synapse. I've unlocked my bios to have access to the trip points but whatever setting I put once in windows the settings don't change anything. Any help or incite would be appreciated.

Unfortunately it’s not possible even you change to higher temperature trip point on bios setting, similar with Blade 15 2018, 2017 14 model, I believe it’s removed to top level because if it’s accessible some users may set it too lower that made the cooling system doesn’t run well. Unlike big gaming laptops on this thin light categories bios users setting is pretty limited. For less fans noise undervolting the cpu and not using unnecessary programs like afterburner or online connected apps is the best way imo.
BTW i know that noob25 who make Bios moding Tutorial for that Fans control in that thread, apparently only he the one who succeeded:wink_: And his statement about afterburner is also a bit wrong it’s not only cpu but also gpu will be waken by this software.
