Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2019) RTX 2060 battery swelling

Hi everyone,

My Blade 15 touchpad recently stopped working and upon opening back lid I figured out that there is battery swelling.
I'm scared to use laptop further on as apparently battery might blow up or cause burns.
Where can I get a genuine replacement? Official store doesn't have any, neither I could find any on Amazon.
This essentially makes $2k laptop useless.

*PS it's Base, not Advanced as it turned out by Serial Number

Even if the laptop is out of warranty, you can still send it back to us for repair. But if you're looking to DIY the battery replacement, I will have to move the thread to our Systems boards. Let me know how you want to proceed.

Edit:
Unlocked and moved to Systems.
Hi guys,

I have the same model, and having the same problem as @Johnny7D, in my case the pad stills works, but the battery is swollen and starting to push the case out.

I would like to consider both options, sent to repair (or if possible take it myself to a repair center, ¿How much time can the battery replacement take?), and the DIY option. The decision is time sensitive, since it would be complicated for me to ship it out from my country, but I will be traveling to USA soon, so it might be easier to go either way.

Please help me understand what is my best option.

Thanks!

Repairs can take up to three weeks, depending on parts availability. DIY may be a bit quicker if you can find a compatible battery. I can submit a repair ticket on your behalf if you want to take that route.

Please advise where can we get a battery? This is way better than not having a laptop for over a month. Even without battery I still can use laptop, and can replace battery myself. I just need an option to get one.

Razer unfortunately doesn’t send parts. Yes replacing battery is easy but you’ve to run some diagnostic if the new battery works fine with the system, could be also power circuit failure etc. I saw not few users reported unusual behavior after DIY battery replacement from Amazon or eBay.
