Razer Blade 15" Advanced mid-2019 rtx 2070 not being detected in Device Manager & GeForce Experience

Hi all,

My laptop was plugged in and on at night and I took a nap, during which the I think the rtx card stopped working because the external display I had connected was showing "no signal" and the icons on the desktop were all big and the background was black. Anyhoo, I did not realize the error until 2 days later when I reused the monitor. So far, I have reset Windows, uninstalled all nvidia drivers. I have been trying to reinstall the drivers from nvidia but I get the message that the drivers are not compatible with this version of windows and that no nvidia hardware was detected. I have been thinking of doing a manual windows reinstall too.

Can anyone please tell me if they have ever experienced this issue before and what they did to solve it? Is it a hardware issue (as in the gpu is dead)? or more a software one? Also, is there a way I can use an external display with the laptop if the gpu is dead because I really dont want it replaced during school.

I have contacted support but they are taking forever to respond and my warranty has been up for 11 days.

I apologize if the post is messy, this being my first forum post. Please let me know if you need a System Information file.

Edit:

I forgot to include it above, but I have updated windows to the latest version and tried to install the latest drivers but the same error keeps on showing.

There's not much for me to add. You've pretty much done all possible troubleshooting without touching the internals. Please send me the ticket number so I can try to move things along.
