RAZER BLADE 15 - Backlight bleed

Hi, recently I've received a Razer Blade 15 laptop and it has a backlight bleed issue. This is the second device, the first one which I bought in June had the same problem and Razer agreed to replace it.I was waiting for a month until the device became available in stock.
The new one has a lower percentage of backlight but it's still noticeable.

    First laptop:

    Second:

For comparison Mac pro (maybe a bad example because mac has LED display with IPS technology):

I heard that it's a common issue for LCD screens but it's hard to believe that absolutely any LCD panel has this problem.

Does anybody have a Razer laptop which has no noticeable backlight bleed ?
Should I continue "buy-and-return" process until I get a panel w/o backlight or it's just waste of time and I should go with another option ?

    Thanks

Actually, every LCD screen will have some kind of backlight bleed since it uses a light screen behind its color grid, and always some backlight will bleed.

I thought the Blades were also using IPS? I highly doubt they are TN or VA.

Yes there’s a model that free of that, 4K one, unfortunately not on FHD, i think it’s because high refresh panel, curious with 60Hz one. I had Blade 14 2017 with same manufacturer, LG and it was free of backlight Bleeding.
Yes ips, FHD one no glossy.

Yea, I here you. Just by looking on these pictures do you think this is an acceptable level of backlight bleed and there is no razer laptop with lower backlight level ?

Not really, you can try getting a replacement once again.

I have had no luck, I already returned 4 of them, I gave up and bought a different brand, I wanted to love the razer, but the 14 inch was a way better model in terms of portability. I loved what the 15 inch offered, but the quality control is just terrible the first one I bought was missing parts out of the box. Until razer steps up their game I am out.

Also I don't understand why people like ips so much more, I have a 27 inch 1440p tn panel (no backlight bleed) and it has perfect color albeit I had to turn down the gamma to .60 in Nvidia control panel, but it is brighter and more vibrant than any ips panel that I have bought plus no input delay.

I had 4K 28 TN panel 1ms, returned it back for 4K IPS 5ms, to me color on IPS Panel way better, 1ms vs 5 couldn’t be noticed in my eyes. Color may be better with calibration but I wasn’t satisfied with that tn panel color.
It is only around 150gr heavier but you get more screen real estate, and other advantages like ips high refresh rate, I miss details from 4K on internal screen, but for Overwatch I don’t need that. Yes unfortunately mine has also backlight bleed but it’s unnoticed on usage, and my eyes concentrate on display overall. And agree if you had miss part experience with a brand you’ll be hesitate purchasing another one, I had that on other brands, but from Razer in 4 years buying their system not (well at least for me) “yet”.

Mine, FHD 144hz, also came with some light bleed, but in the end I wont bother changing it for another specilaly when the rest of the system came in perfect conditions, including gaming temperature and performance.

Ah, you also pulled the trigger on this. Good to hear about temperatures and the performance! Is it the new copper vapor chamber or the limited edition;) black vapor chamber one?
