Razer Blade 15 Charger not working
Hi so around 2 months ago i noticed my laptop was getting extremely hot and i was having bad frame drops (unplayable). So naturally i checked to make sure the laptop was plugged in and i noticed that the power supply wasnt heating up at all but the laptop was showing that it was charging and the green liht on the charger was lit. I decided to order a new charger anyway to see if this was the problem and the new charger i recieved worked fine for the 2 months ive had it but today i noticed the same issue. Laptop is getting very hot and the power brick is not heating up at all. The laptop even shows that its plugged in and charging but im unable to game because the brick isnt getting hot for some reason. My laptop is almost 3 years old and i do not have a warranty so if someone could help that would be great before i buy another very expensive charger for my laptop. thanks! - Lance

Have you tried cleaning the laptop recently, and have you noticed a drop in battery life? I highly recommend using canned air to try to get rid of dust buildup. Those can significantly increase temps once they start to clog vents and block airflow within the system.
still doesnt make sense why my charging brick isnt heating up i cant find any forums with someone with this problem and usually i could cook an egg on it while gaming lol. Its not warm at all
Edit:
hi so i cleaned out the laptop and noticed a lot of dust clumps built up in the fans. im playing my games and there not dropping frames anymore, but my problem is the power brick still isnt heating up at all.The laptop for sure is getting a lot more air flow and i didnt even know that the fans blew out the back thats how clogged they were. thanks - lance
