Razer Blade 15: Few Problems and Questions

First of all, my laptop can go up to around 100 or 200 fps when plugged in and playing Minecraft, but when off of the lead it can go only up to around 50fps. Is there some sort of setting I have missed?

Secondly, I have seen in the Nvidia Control Panel, the only option is the 3D settings, whereas, on my old laptop it has display settings and Video settings. Why is there a lack of options on my new laptop then?

For a lot of this I have already found people with similar problems to me on other forums, but what people have said to do haven't fixed the problems with the fps. The Graphics I haven't looked up about that yet.

Anyway, here are the specs if you need them:

Model: Razer Blade 15
Processor: i7-9750H 2.60GHz
RAM: 16GB
Screen Refresh Rate: 240Hz
SSD Storage: 221GB (Will upgrade to 1TB later on)
Graphics: GeForce RTX 2070 with Max-Q Design
Resolution: 1920-1080

If you need any more details I can say them!

Hey there! Thanks for posting your concern here. If this is the Razer Blade 15" 2019 Advance model, it does feature a refresh rate of 144Hz. When the laptop is on battery mode, it automatically adjusts the FPS to 60Hz so it will prolong its battery life. In regard to your NVIDIA concern, have you updated your graphics driver? Please also check wif somehow, your onboard graphics device has been disabled under device manager.
1. You didn't read cause mine is a 240Hz Refresh Rate edition
2. It doesn't seem to go down in refresh rate cause it still says and feels like 240Hz
3. I have updated my drivers and i always check for this.
4. Graphics hasn't been disabled, no.

m8 I literally told you the specs and you acted as if you didn't know them, so if this is an automated message go away please. Don't mean to be that harsh though. Anyway, it is a thin laptop, so it makes sense if it gets Hot cause of all the extreme stuff inside it.

Thanks for pointing that out. That's fine, I'm just probing. Please send me your laptop's serial number instead via PM so I can check for its available updates. Let's continue from there.
It should be fine for now! Will update you in PMs later on. Will friend you to remind you or myself.
