The game is not updating and my driver is up to date to the newest one that came out yesterday. This computer cost me 2200$ at bestbuy please could somone help me. I am desperate. This is my first good computer in my life and i have been very upsrt everynight this week trying to figure out whats wrong with my little knowledge of computers. :frown_:

What are you using to keep track of GPU usage, and why are you worried about it? Is there a performance drop?

100% usage doesn't necessarily mean something bad is happening, even on a light game like World of Warcraft. But once you give us a little more information and explain why this is a problem maybe we can help you figure out what's going on.

Hey @figrin1. There is not a huge performance drop but the Laptop fan has gotten ALOT louder and louder since the increase. So in all the Fan noise and the fact it's gone from 30% to now being 70%+ GPU & 50%+ CPU while playing World of Warcraft on recommended settings. 30 FPS while in combat 60 FPS While in a main city (Boralus) not in combat.

I think it might help if you checked your performance on something like 3DMark Firestrike or even another game, and see how the system reacts.

I suspect something is going on with WoW though, like having the view distance setting too high. Something like that can really tax your system even on light games. Not sure though since I haven't played WoW in years.
