Razer Blade 15-inch 2019 bricked due to failed BIOS update from 1.04 to 1.05

This is just depressing.

I purchased this laptop from a friend yesterday, but it turned out into a brick in less than a day.

I was trying to update the bios from 1.04 to 1.05 hoping it will fix the whining sound I was hearing from the laptop.

So I downloaded the BIOS update, I launched it then I got a blue screen saying windows encountered a problem and it will restart. Once it turned off, I can only see a black screen. No back light. It's as if the monitor is not connected. The keyboard lights are up and the power indicator is showing green.

I have tried virtually everything but to no avail. I have also tried using an external monitor but still no output.

This is just depressing. I'm not holding my hopes up for an RMA as I don't believe my friend still has the receipt as he's the person who doesn't keep that kind of stuff.
