Razer blade 15 insane temperatures, need help!

All my cores are going up to 95-100 degrees constantly while playing games. Why is this happening?

There’s some potential reasons for high cpu temperature and solution:
1) gaming mode (use balanced mode)
2) cpu demanding title (undervolting the cpu or disable turbo boost)
3) Bad heat sink/cpu&GPU (repasting or RMA)
4) Exhaust and intake areas not free well (rising bottom areas.
5) Fans dusted (dusting)
6) High ambient temperature (wait winter lol)

Defo needs repair. I've undervolted and that helped idle temps but it just seems to break down on games. PUBG BFV and APEX are all having stuttering issues and have all lost performance since these problems started.

How high is idle temperature?

How high is idle temperature?

Fully idle about 50, when a youtube video is playing or something about 60-65

@bizzoneVividCerulean469 Can you send me screenshots of the temps idle and under load along with your game settings? I'd like to get a better understanding of your situation so I can help you sort things out.

Sorry I'm away from my blade atm but all info is as follows:

Idle -
All cpu cores at 5-10% load and anywhere from 40 to 60 degrees celcius
Gaming - ((BFV all low settings(performance has dropped a lot forcing me to only be able to play on low even though when I first got the game I was playing on high getting a constant 70fps no stuttering))
All cpu cores 25-30% load 94-100 degrees celcius

Ive been able to decrease temps across the board by 10 degrees (90 degree during game) by disabling turbo boost and doing some undervolting.

Game settings directly affect load and temps. If you have the GTX1060 variant of the RB15, then this is to be expected given how high the graphics settings you're currently running them games on. You might want to tweak the graphics settings of the games and make sure the undervolt is stable as that can cause performance drops as well.

Theres a direct correlation with temp and performance in my case. At normal stages my cpu was 100 degrees and my games were stuttering like hell even at low graphics. Now I've undervolted dropped max temps to 90-95 and performance seems to have restored but could be a bit better. What else do you recommend me to do after under volting quite aggressivley and disabling turbo boost? I would only need to drop max temps another 5 degrees to make it really good.

Also these are the recommended graphics by nvidia themselves

The general rule of thumb is to go a step lower that GForce EXP optimized settings well at least for me and the people I game with. However, in your case, I would honestly recommend that you send the laptop in to get checked out given the temps and performance issues you're experiencing even after aggressively undervolting the CPU. Send me a PM should you want to go that route.

I'm not having performance issues anymore and my max temps ingame are 90°. Is that normal?

Depends on what you did to get there. Anyways, feel free to shoot me a PM should you need further assistance. Enjoy the weekend!
