Recently I've noticed a lot of stuttering while playing Rainbow Six Siege, Risk of Rain 2, or Hunt: Showdown. Other seemingly CPU intensive games that I play, such as Killing Floor 2 and Minecraft, seem to run perfectly fine with no random drops in framerate. The weirdest thing is that none of this used to happen. All 3 of those games used to run fine with no stuttering.
Specs (I can give more information if needed):
Intel Core i7-8750H CPU @ 2.20GHz, 8th Gen
Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 GPU
16GB of RAM
Thanks.

Maybe because of thermal throttle that may come from several reasons. First check temperatures like using HWinfo64 or intel xtu (cpu), if it’s on 90ish, there’re also several things to do, like cleaning fans, undervolt the cpu which’s need on Intel cpu imo, if it’s still maybe the thermal paste dried out and you need to repaste it. Rising blade bottom areas and using max fans rpm can also help to cool the blade for more stable performance.
If it’s not thermal matters you may want to check other nvidia drivers.
Hope that help.
