Razer Blade 15 - possible battery bloat

Hello,

I purchased my laptop back in late 2020 in Singapore, and for the most part of it, I did not have any major issues with it (other than a grindy fan?) and since I usually run it with a laptop cooler, the heating problem was contained.

This year, I started to realise that the trackpad was getting harder and harder to press, as if somethng were lodged underneath. Now, however, it is no longer able to click down at all and is starting to show a small bulge along the top edge that I'm suspecting is from a battery bloat.

I'm trying to find a repair center instead of going to an external repair shop, but the the support website merely says that my warranty is over and that I should use the forum to obtain help. I've tried looking around and it seems to be a common issue with the Razor Blade series, even with a class action on it?

Advice would be much appreciated!

That's right. If the Razer Blade's trackpad is hard to push or if it looks protruded/pushed up is caused by a bloated battery. Razer can offer an out-of-warranty repair. However, please send me your laptop's serial number via PM so I can verify if the unit is eligible to undergo the said service. I'll be locking this thread to curb our conversation privately.
