Razer Blade 15 swollen trackpad - can no longer close laptop

I bought my Razer Blade 15 in February 2021 and, now, I realize it isn't closing anymore. The trackpad is literally lifted and whatever's underneath it is swollen! I am somewhat worried this relatively new computer is about to blow up on me while I'm working.

Is anybody able to lend me a hand on this? I was happy with the system so far and considered upgrading to a newer model but if they all do this, I don't think I would feel too safe doing that.

Its battery bloat. The battery sits under the trackpad and is swelling up due to heat and failure. You need to get the battery replaced, or at least removed before it bends the laptop case. The laptop is no longer under warranty unless you purchased the extra year option, and I am not too sure if Razer have replacement batteries as a purchase option. You could do it yourself, or try a local laptop repair centre. Razer support could also help you with contacting an authorised repair centre.

Ah, I see - quite disappointing so quickly into it but I know better for next time. Thanks!
