Razer blade 15 USB-c hub for external HDMI monitor issue

I've tried 5 different USB-C hubs on my two razer blade 15 computers and can't get any of them to recognize a second monitor through HDMI. Whenever I connect any of the hubs to either USB-c port they say connection might be limited, or device not recognized.

The latest one i've tried is the caldigit SOHO usb-c device. Has anyone else experiences this compatibility problem? Or what am I missing? Or any recommendations on a cheap USB-c hub that has a hdmi or display port that works with the razer blade 15 2020 model?

I want to connect two external monitors to my laptop, and can get one to work on the HDMI to HDMI, and then I'm trying to use a dongle to get the second monitor, either through display port or through HDMI. I've tried dongles with two display ports, or ones without display port and just hdmi ports.

Thanks for any and all help. This has been extremely frustrating.

I ended up just using a usb to vga adaptor to get my second monitor to work. I don't know why usb-c hubs that are reasonable priced don't work with these computers.

I have the 2020 blade 15 with the 1660 Ti, I have one monitor connect via HDMI, how do I connect my second? Could you link me what you got.

If a usb-c hub doesn’t work, I would try an adaptor cable from usb to hdmi, DisplayPort or vga to get a second monitor.

I would just get an adaptor that downloads it’s software. I’m not much of an expert on all this stuff but this is the solution I came up with.
