So I've had the laptop for about a month, and I just noticed that the power brick is making some strange buzzing sound. Sometimes it's louder than other times, and I noticed it after a long session of gaming. After shutting off the game, it is quieter, and non-audible unless I hold it close to my ear (it's also hot, but I'm assuming that's normal).

I contacted Razer support last night and got a reply back saying ""Sorry, as that is normal for a power supply. The sounds are of the components doing their work."

Any ideas what's going on? I've asked some people and someone who works at a PC shop has said that it's a sign of "lack of quality," and manufacturers replace them right away...

I have the Blade 2015 and I can tell you my power brick never makes noise. Although, I'm currently having an issue with my laptop's left fan making funny vibrator noises.

I had the same issue with the power brick. In the end, I decided to buy a new power adapter. However, I did not buy the one from Razor as I could not afford that price. I went to Amazon and bought one that was compatible for a fraction of the price.

I had the power adapter for a 6 months now and all is well. Granted its not as compact as Razors however, as I said, I could not afford the Razor power adapter at this time.

I believe all the power adapters buzz to a certain extent. Some are more audible then others. Grounding has a lot to do with it. You might want to try a different outlet or possibly even a surge protector with a power filter.
