razer blade pro 17 3080 360hz heat what to

hey you,

i just got my laptop and updated nvidea graphics and windows i wanted to play call of duty cold war but the heat of the laptop reached 85 degrees so i did some research and change the fans to highest on costum in synapse and changed a setting in advanced battery settings so i am thinking of getting a cooling pad for under the laptop or laptop stand i saw that a cooling pad didn't realy help on youtube bc this laptop had already 4 fans so so you guys have any idea's or what do you use to cool this beast let me know:D

ps i dont did any intel graphics update bc idk if i need that

That's normal when running games in high settings at high refresh rates. You will want to lower the in-game graphics settings to run at a few degrees cooler.

Yes thank you,
I updated some drivers and now i got a stable 70 degrees on cpu without lifting it up in a room of i think like 26 degrees

i still want to know if a cooling pad would help bc the laptop already has 4 fans and some say it helps nothing and some say they help with 2 degrees but there is not much info on the internet maybe you know anything about it a laptop stand will also help but i thought maybe the cooling stand wil help more

@smokeyplop Anything that would keep it from sitting flush flat on your desk will help with cooling, as that would give the fans more space to pull air. That said, don't expect significant improvements. At best, you'd be running 5 degrees cooler.

Using cooling pad would give cooler temperature and dissipate heat from cassis faster since cnc unibody aluminum on blade laptops act as heat dissipation, cool pad would remove it faster than without. 26 degrees ambient to me is quite warm, so I think it’s worth to get, every degrees temperature improvement is worth on any gaming laptop the heat is main enemy for its internal parts.
Other things to reduce heat is by limiting FPS or lowering setting, higher FPS and rendering more details means more work and as result more heat. However on 70 degrees gaming laptops CPU temperature I’d be happy.
