Razer Blade Pro 17 - 4k 2080 MaxQ Screen goes blank randomly for ~1 second

Two issues I'm currently experiencing.

1) When in 60hz, Optimus mode, after the laptop goes to sleep and I wake it, the screen will randomly go blank for approximately 1 second. I have not been able to trace this back to any logs. The screen will either do this once, or constantly do it. Played a game of leagues like this which was > 20 minutes and it was doing it randomly ever few minutes. This is super frustrating as I end up have to reboot after a wake.

2) When I wake the laptop after sleep whilst in 120hz mode (using nvidia graphics only) the graphics do not resume. I just have a black screen. I can hear background windows noises and see my webcam blinking trying to log me via windows hello.

Any insights on this? Latest intel graphics drivers & latest nvidia graphics drivers do not solve the issue.

Intel graphics drivers are currently: 27.20.100.8783
I'm having the same issue.
I got a windows update delivered intel graphics driver recently as well in as switching to the nvidia studio driver and it was more stable. I haven't used the laptop in a few days, but will check later and report what driver versions I'm using.

I downloaded and installed the latest Windows update and drivers and it hasn't been fixed....
I installed the Intel Driver & Support Assistant and it has updated a bunch of my drivers. I also switched to nvidia studio drivers and rebooted a few times since. I just opened the laptop without any blinking whatsoever (which I think is a first tbh).
I installed the Intel Driver & Support Assistant and updated my drivers but still no luck. I haven't switched over to NVidia Studio but I DON'T WANT TO because I am using this rig for gaming.
As of the other day, the driver versions have converged.

Having said all of this, I have no idea why my laptop stopped doing what it was doing, or if/when it will return.
Hmm. So, I HAVE V. 456.71 installed and am STILL experiencing this issue! Dios MIO, WHY?!?

Try the studio driver, even if its the same, its in a different package
Also I had more than one update with the Intel utility. Attached a print of what it shows my graphics drivers to be.

Hi @retroMauveclassic173! Thanks for posting your laptop's concern here. Razer is aware of the issue that the Razer Blade 17 2020 get a black screen issue with the conditions below:

1. Updating to Windows version 2004
2. Having NVIDIA drivers 456.55 and above is installed
3. GPU Mode at "Dedicated GPU Mode"
4. BIOS version at 1.04

Please update this thread should the issue persists.

Hey @duneman_001! Are you still experiencing the issue? Please go to your Razer Synapse 3.0 > System > Performance and select "NVIDIA@Optimus", then save and exit and restart the computer. Should the issue persists, please isolate the issue by switching to NVIDIA studio and check if the odd display behavior is still happening.

I do experience the inability to wake the laptop when set to dedicated gpu mode. I still experience intermittent black screen from time to time when set to optimus mode.

Are there instructions for bios version validation and updates?

Thanks for asking. Please check and follow the steps on this link and determine your laptop's BIOS and EC firmware versions. Here's the link where to download the Razer Blade 17's firmware. Our EC firmware is on 1.1.1.2, and the BIOS version is 1.04. Our Support Team is still investigating the issue. Thanks to you folks, I was able to verify that the latest version of NVIDIA drivers is showing the display behavior.
I attempted to update the bios. The laptop blue screened and now I am unable to boot the laptop. Please advise.
