Razer Blade Pro 2014 Model Issues

I have a Razer Blade Pro from 2014 that I bought and I am having all kinds of issues with it.
The battery was all swollen, so its no good so I am replacing that. Waiting for the new one to come. In the meantime I took the battery out and the laptop won't actually run without a battery in it. It will turn on sometimes for 10-15 minutes other times it will shut off after 45-60 seconds. Is it normal for it to not run without a battery connected? I can see the power button kind of blink red barely before it just goes black.

Also the CPU seems to get crazy hot pretty much instantly and the fans are blowing at max speed the second its fully booted up. It hovers around 70-100+ C in or out of a game. I have taken the fans off and made sure everything is clean. Its sitting on top of a laptop stand/fan with fans blowing right into the cpu fans through the bottom of the laptop. Still gets crazy hot.

The battery/power issue stops me from really doing anything to address the heat issue. I would think if I downclock the cpu it will help a little.

Any ideas?

Also anyone know where I can get replacement screws for the bottom cover? I am missing one and a few are stripped...-.-
