    Any possible rumours/dates when razer blade pro 2018 could be released? I am just torn a bit if I should buy current 4k blade pro with 1080 or wait a bit for updated 2018 model with possible i7 8th gen, etc..

    You could wait. I would say they might release an updated Blade pro soon since they already updated the Steath with 8th gen processors, and many of the blade pro's competitors are starting to update as well, But there is always the chance that they will wait for the next line of GPU's to come out, although that is not very likely.

    Next line GPU's will take awhile.. :)

    Yeah, Estimated spring ish (somewhere around there) for the desktop ones, the mobile / laptop GPU's take longer in most cases. That laptop might be the 2019 model of the Blade Pro now to think of it.

    ok. would be nice if they update 8th gen soon as that means longer battery life and slightly better performance too. To wait till 2019 GPU a bit too long.. :)

    Yeah, Just wait for the 8th Gen processor. Something tells me the next Blade pro might be released around CES or something like that.

    The Stealth and the Pro use a different CPU class (U vs H),
    and the 8th gen version of the latter isn't expected until Q2.
    I'd be _very_ interested in seeing references to support your
    claim that the Pro's competitors are starting to upgrade.
    To what? Some might take the desktop CPU route, but those
    were never really Pro competitors...

    Maybe you know something the rest of the world doesn't. (-;

    I personally think they should release a revised version, or v2 with the same hardware, with a usable keyboard, and perhaps a better placed and larger trackpad before I'd consider purchasing it.

    I am still out on if I like the Pro's keyboard or not. I would like for the trackpad to be moved below the space bar. I find myself using different laptops though out the day and sometimes put my fingers in the wrong spot. These are minor issues as I usually use the laptop like a small desktop. By that I mean, rarely am I not using a mouse and a desk or table. With all that said, I still really like the Pro as it is a beast.

    I would not wait for the next model to arrive. My gut says that it will be a while before the next gen comes out.

    They need to fix the keyboard at minimum before I go back to the Razer Blade Pro 4K. That keyboard is just wrong. I would really like them to move the trackpad as well, but would settle for new keyboard. I wonder if a GTX 1080i might be in the works for laptops? Otherwise, just reworking the thermals/power of the RBP's use of the GTX 1080 can yield better results - it barely is better than a GTX 1070 the way they are using it.
