Razer Blade problems?

Have you had problems with your razer blade?

    Hi everyone,

    This is my first post but I am a long time lurker and lover of Razer and love to read everyone elses posts. So I am seriously considering buying a Blade and maybe the Core as well, but reading through a lot of the posts on the forums and reddit, it seems a lot of people have had problems with the blade, so I am hesitant to buy one. I know the worst usually comes out on the forums since people with working systems dont usually post as much as the people with the problems, so I was just wondering if there are more people with working blades then ones with problems. And comment with the pros and cons of things that have gone well/badly with your blade! I would love to hear everyones opinions on how much they love their Blade! Thanks! :)

    Yeah, typically those that are disgruntled are much louder than those that are content. And it depends on which blade you are referring to? The Razer Blade Stealth or the Blade 16?

    I would probably get the blade 16, but interested in peoples thoughts on the stealth as well! if i get the core i might get either, but if i dont go for the core I would get the blade 16 probably :)

    I haven't really seen anyone posting issues about the blade 16 so far, all I have seen is RBS issues with the fans buzzing or with the power brick.

The one I got did not take a charge and because of that was reaching CPU temps of 101ºC but the thread I started everyone is saying after playing Overwatch for about an hour they were in mid to high 80's which is really good for how thin the laptop is. It was my first Razer product so kind of disappointed the battery was dead but those things happen I have not heard of anyone else having this problem... But I was really impressed with the rest of the build, keyboard and RGB lighting is awesome. It felt like a quality product and I will be getting another one as soon as I can, Microsoft returned it instead of sending out fro repairs so I have to wait till another 512 GB becomes available.

    +1 on the "vocal minority" bit. The people with issues will always be louder than those without. I'd not worry about it unless Razer themselves admits there's an issue, as was the case with the Blade Stealth hyper-throttling on AC power.

    I received my new Blade today. The power adapter was faulty and dead out of the box. So until I hear back from support I now have a $2200+ boat anchor.
