I have four questions about the Razer blade:

Does the razer blade has a touchscreen?

If the Razer blade overheats, does it shut down automatically?

If you leave it on stanndby or sleep, does it overheat, drain battery or damage the blade?

Why is the Razer Blade so expensive?

I can answer a few of these, but not all.

    1. There is a version of the Razer Blade that has a touchscreen, but I dont believe all of the models come with touchscreens.

    2. Yes, if any computer overheats too much it shuts its self down automatically to preserve internal components from roasting themselves.

    3. The Razer blade is mostly expensive for a few reasons.
    A. It's Razer; its going to be a little over the top :)
    B. You're paying for engineering - The laptop is thinner than a dime standing up, your paying a bit of money for the form factor
    C. High Resolution Display - Its above 1920x1080, so its going to be a little more expensive for such good quality on the screen.
    D. Performance - its a gaming laptop, it can support most games on max settings at a solid 30 - 60 FPS, your paying for some really good hardware.

The touchscreen model is only available on the QHD+ model with a screen resolution of 3200x1600 and the screen is glossy. The non touchscreen model is only avaiable on the Full HD model with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 and the screen is matte.

Yes it does shutdown when overheated.. Was playing dota2 a few days back and I forgot to on the fan to blow at the blade. It then shutdown when the system became too hot.
