Razer Blade RTX Reviews?

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by OceanBluetrendfresh859, Jan 30, 2019.

  1. Hi

Anyone able to track down a RB RTX review? I ordered one this morning and itching to see if it is worth $3000.

Nope, not yet. It’ll be better preparing things to do when you get it, looking for good sleeve or skin you like etc, something that’s fun:smile_:. You’ve 14 days to return it if you don’t think it is worth your money.

  3. Hi Jo,

Nah, I’m going with a bland skin for the business meetings.

I’ll do all the stress test and benchmarks stock to root out a bug the first week. If there is an isssue send it back for refund. If not, undervolt, repaste and game!

Ideally, no more egpu needed anymore with the 2080 max q.

Same thing I thought when purchasing Blade 15 1070maxq. I want better performance...if i have some bucks to throw on my setting. For now 2080maxq maybe enough, but later we don’t know.

First out of box rtx2080 maxq Blade 15.

  5. if it hits 1080 desktop performance i am good. That is plenty for my setup.

Yes, it is less than ideal.

I kinda think it is odd a Razer RTX has not been reviewed yet. Makes me think these first reviews are planned by Nvidia and OEMs.

From my Blade 15 1070maxq dx12 timespy graphics score, it’s around 22% better, it may be higher after some update and optimization or maybe with some tweaks like undervolting the cpu. It’s still out of the box performance, mine was also lower. 3Dmark is affected by programs that running background or some optimization software like nvidia experience.
Yes that’s 1080 desktop average graphics performance, with a bit “touch” may go better.
