Has anyone tried undervolting yet? Intel XTU reports the "platform" is not supported...

I won't receive mine until end of the month, but the temperature seems quite good from all the review videos on youtube. Pardon my ignorance, other than trying to drop the temperature, is there any particular reason you want to undervolt this ultrabook?

The the new driver for cpu seemly not been yet approved, it wasn’t there on 3Dmark cpu list as well when I checked it. Maybe it’ll be soon. Unlike 8750H on Blade 15, unless you pair it high end gpu on core setting, I think it’ll be fine without undervolting. I saw recently gaming and benchmarks cpu temperature, seemly better than Blade 15 6 cores cpu out of box.
Couple of reasons.

1. I use it on my lap and at high loads it's still too hit for comfort.

2. Battery life

3. Reduce throttling.

Tried throttlestop? Pretty similar software only more stable, more detailed, has build in profiles, and more complicated;)
Yes didn't want to go through fiddling with throttlestop until I get an idea of how much can be done with the hardware, which is where something less fussy like XTU comes in.

It’s actually pretty simple you need only go to FIVR tab , change value on core and cache (i7 7500U is around-90mV stable), and save, don’t bother other looks complicated foreign language (to me) settings. It’ll be same with undervolting via xtu only the value will stay more stable than xtu which is often back to default 0. I use xtu because it’s more simple to handle troubleshooting by overclocking on eGPU setting, without egpu setting I would use throttlestop.
it's already low voltage CPU, undervolting won't do much
I have the 12.5 RBS and I have tried that earlier

I undervolte my 12,5 stealth, it helps a lot lowering temperature on gaming paired with core, especially cpu demanding one.

Nice
The fans really like to spin up and down out of the box.

Throttlestop
I undervolted -80mv and disabled the turbo for normal use. The fans haven't turned on that I have noticed.

When I want to game a little, I turn the turbo back on but leave the undervolt.

There are 4 profiles to choose from. Just adjust as needed.

It is working really well so far.

Is there any gpu choice between uhd620 and mx150 on nvidia Control Panel (manage 3D setting, preferred graphics processor between Auto select, high performance or integrated graphics)?

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but were you on a 2019 blade stealth using Throttlestop? I can't get it to work on mine.
