Hi, I've contacted Razer support over email about this case but i'd like to see if anyone could help me before the support team reaches out to me.

I just got my Razer blade stealth today and as soon as i got it i plugged it in with the charger, i tried to press the power button but nothing happened at all. i decided to leave it for a while to charge so i left it for about 30 minutes. when i returned i pressed the power button once again but it stayed quiet. no lights or anything. I tried to charge using both the charging ports but they gave me the same results. I saw the charging brick had a little green indicator light on it so i know it gets power. I'm not sure it supplies power past the power brick though. The laptops charging indicator light is not lighting up. I tried to use different power sockets for charging the laptop but none worked. I've tried many times now, letting the laptop stay in the charger for a while then try again and letting the laptop just stay without the charger. The laptop is completely new. I'm quite upset that i spent so much money on a laptop that arrives not even functional. It wont even start. I dont own any other laptops that i can try the charger on so I'm not sure if the cable coming out of the power brick could be broken. I've tried to inspect it and it seems and feels all good. I'm worried the motherboard or battery could be defective. I'm afraid i'd have to send the laptop back to Razer, if that's the case i might just request a refund from the supplier i got it from, because i cant be bothered with the repair.

Is there anything i could possibly do to fix the laptop without voiding my warranty? I'm comfortable opening the laptop if i have to, I'm just not sure if that will void the warranty or not.

There's not much that we can do when it comes to power-related issues. It is possible that the battery won't hold a charge, or the power brick isn't working properly. Either way, you will have to send the laptop in for repair or replacement. By the way, do you mind sending me your ticket number?
