I recently got this laptop, I know it is a year old but it is a nice laptop for the most part.
I am having the same problem that most of you are having with this laptop:
1) the right thunderbolt port is not working
2) the laptop does not work on battery. (even when the battery is charged)

I had seen several forums with the same problems; however, the support people close the treats without giving any answer. I read online that I need to contact support directly to get a bios update, but I cannot find the support email or phone number to contact them.

I hope to receive the solution from you guys.

It is a shame that a $1300+ laptop stop charging in less than 2 years and the company doesn't even have the decency of provide any kind of customer support or guidance.
Feels like the company is more interested into selling that to back up their product.
Don't take me wrong the laptop is nice if you are lucky to receive a good one. However, their quality control and costumer service is horrible.
My solution, EnduroTronics durable electronics, He fixed my laptop and know it is charging and working on battery as it should.
