Guys, I was going to buy a Razer Blade Stealth 13.3 with the i7-7500U, but then I got a doubt: is it worth to wait for the KabyLake-R update cause of the 40% more power? Any idea for when it'll launch? Suggestions?

If you do not need a new notebook right now, i would wait. But there is no guarantee that an updated version of the Stealth will be released anytime soon, AND there is still a chance that Intel will release new dual core U-series (i7-8500U) and the next iteration of the Stealth will be shipped with that (very unlikely).

Kabylake R is around 40% kabylake faster depends on UCPU version, on website comparison, a lot people comparing with 7200U rather than 7500U, I think for same specs, 8550U its actually around 20 to 30%. http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-8550U-vs-Intel-Core-i7-7500U/m320742vsm171274
Kabylake R update is nice to have on Stealth since there is still rare Laptops with full TB3 4 lanes that are using this CPU, but no one now when the Stealth would be upgraded to this CPU, you need to be patient if you are waiting it on Blade Stealth imo.

I too am waiting for the Kaby Lake Refresh Blade Stealth. I have been scouring the internet trying to find as much information as I can regarding this topic. It seems Razer is pretty tight lipped about their Razer Blade releases. However, one can speculate, I took the time to look at the releases of previous Razer Blade Stealth releases and here is what I found.

September 2016 - Blade Stealth Refresh
June 2017 - Blade Stealth Refresh
That is an approximately 9 month time span. I would imagine the Blade Stealth Kaby Lake Refresh line would come out around March 2018. Hopefully sooner cause I want one of them quad core cpu's in my 13.3 inch laptop ASAP! :yum:

If you guys find more information about the Blade Stealth Kaby Lake Refresh please put it in this thread so I can be notified. Thank you! :)

Also you need to note that the Razer Blade Stealth Kaby Lake was like the first Kaby Lake using ultrabook in the market at the time of its announcement, I expected the same thing for KabyLake-R aswell.

It was the first ultrabook that adopted Kabylake before the announcement (remember Linus had discovered it in an exhibition), but unfortunately not now.

Already sold out. How often do these things get restocked by razer? Any idea how soon they get to the microsoft or amazon retailers? Literally was about to buy and sold out mid checkout -____-

They do want your money;) But new items is always sold out quickly, they have to full fill the demand first and restock after all orders are covered. For systems is not as easy as pheriperals to restock I think just keep your eyes on Razer Store or maybe you can ask order support for restock info, sometimes staff here are telling us about its availability.
