    Hi Razer Support,

This is an issue that has been appearing in my Blade Stealth for the last few weeks. I originally purchased my Blade Stealth around Black Friday, and within a week or so I noticed this small issue. When I would have the Blade Stealth plugged in to charge, I would unplug it and the computer would immediately go into sleep mode. I tried looking at the different settings on windows and making sure that all my Razer and Windows drivers were up to date. Unfortunately, the issue persists. The odd thing is that it is inconsistent when it goes to sleep after being unplugged.

It doesn't affect my use of the laptop or any performance, it's just a strange bug that is sometimes weird seeing throughout the day.

I got mine around June 2018. Been happening since the day I got it.
I contacted Razer and did a bunch of research but nothing fixed the issue. They kept telling me to send it back to them for it to get fixed.

There were people with the same issue that got theirs RMA and the issue still persisted. I thought I could just live with the minor issue of the laptop going to sleep when unplugged but the screen started to fall off. I sent mine in this morning to get it fixed. Idk how much can be fixed or whether it could be fixed at all. I'll keep you posted.

Sucks that we had to pay so much for this quality.

Definitely a weird bug, and it's unfortunate that you also have the same issue. It's quite the escalation though from going to sleep to your screen falling off? When you say falling off do you mean physically falling off?

Yes dude, physically falling off. Check this link out link https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/91yh5k/razer_blade_stealth_2018_screen_falls_out/

Mine is really minor, only the left side is coming off but this shouldn't even be happening at all. I love everything about the laptop but all these issues are piling up.

Where do you live? I am in Malaysia, I am suspecting that the sleep issue is happening because of the different power supply.

Holy crap that's crazy. I'm in U.S. I've done a lot of research too, and some say it's a battery calibration deal or it's the power brick. Either way, I don't think I've ran my latpop's battery down all the way yet to test these theories. As for the screen dude, I wish you luck. It's a good thing your laptop's still under the 1 year warranty. From my brief research on that issue, it may have to do something with the heat while under heavy load from the blade stealth is producing affecting the adhesive material. I personally, do not game on my blade stealth and use it primarily for school and programming.

I did calibrate the battery but it still happened. I'll keep you posted on how it is when I get back my unit from the repair centre. I've been trying to solve this issue for the longest time but Razer does not seem to want anything to do with it because anytime someone writes about this, they wouldn't give an answer but ask them to PM them. I've talked to countless reps from Razer but nothing worked.

Yeah, the screen issue does suck. I don't game either, thermals are actually great on my unit. I think it's just poor assembly/quality. I never dropped the laptop and am always gentle with my electronics. You should keep an eye on yours because mine was minor (easy to miss).

Yeah, I mean, it’s been a month for me and I haven’t noticed anything abnormal with the chassis or screen. Just the weird sleeping effect. Thanks for the heads up though, your case is definitely strange and I’ve only seen a handful of these kinds of cases.
