does the razer blade stealth overheat easlly or is it nornal temperature??
I've never had mine overheat even when gaming. It seems to run reasonably cool considering how thin it is.
Likewise. I've never had it overheat. Its pretty good for most normal application and tasks. And as for gaming, certain regions,...especially the left side by the F1 key may get warm.
While running games mine is consistently at 100C+ and keeps overheating and shutting down.
That sounds like you lost the silicon lottery, best to contact Razer Support to see if you can get a replacement.
What kinda games you trying to make it run since it doesn't have a dedicated graphics card. If you are playing games within its means, you should probably contact support as 100+ degree temperatures are definitely not normal and you will be damaging the hardware by allowing it to continue overheating and shutting off.
Opening he Curse desktop app causes the problem as well, doesn't take much. Thanks Overtask!
Even if you try to push it iGPUs aren't really supposed to allow pushing themselves to those kinds of temps unless you manually tweak the settings.
RMA bro, its a good option for cpu probs
Hi, I am going to get the stealth and core. But I am very concern the cooling system. Can anyone share if the stealth is hot when playing games connecting with core?
Hello, i have tried both the skylake and the kaby lake stealth. And i can tell you They are both super hot "my experience" while gaming (game played xcom lowest setting). I owned a skylake stealth but had an issues with the system not weaking up after sleep mode, RMA it and got the kaby lake instead. So i am not sure is it me that i am having these bad lucks and getting the hot oven.
PS i dont have the core so im not sure does that matter.
I'm afraid it really is the silicon lottery, some chips run hotter than others. This is particularly noticeable with ultrabooks due to their limited cooling.
