the combo with the core X here makes plenty of sense. but is the bandwith of the thunderbolt port enough for the most powerful games ? I've read that's one of the limitations regarding Core X.
Is a refresh planed somewhere near in the future ?
And as for the Book, my only resistance into considering one is that no AMD option is offered.

With AMD there’s no thunderbolt or similar usb 4 connection yet which means you can’t use Egpu setting like with core x that destroys the meaning of ultrabook that can transfer to gaming rig at home, sure there’s bottleneck with mobile cpu and TB3 bandwidth but you can upgrade way better performance with Egpu if you’ve a right setting. Sometimes I prefer gaming with stealth than Blade 15. TB4 bandwidth for egpu has no much improvement over TB3 I see yet, so I don’t think it is necessary to make new TB4 enclosure, intel still doesn’t update TB4 chip according user who tried tigerlake cpu on egpu.io the enthusiast forum, still recognized as TB3. Note since icelake, TB3 controller is located inside CPU that make better bandwidth compared to H cpu like on blade 15, that’s why egpu performance is better on ultrabook with this cpu like Stealth and this book 13.
AMD Renoir is Great performance cpu but tiger lake integrated gpu beats the iGPU performance now.

I remember a friend who worked in a law firm saying they'd love to bring their Razer Blade to work, but was always conscious about the glowing green logo making it look "unprofessional" (fwiw, i disagree!)
Sending this to them now so they'd be able to represent and feel less self-conscious!
