razer bt wireless headphones magnet

General rule I go by is to keep magnets away from my electronics, but with the bt headphones having a built in magnetic clip it can be tough. Is the magnetic clip strong enough to mess up my RP2 screen / data / sd card / sim card???

Hmmm, that's a tough one.

I've had my Razer Hammerhead BTs for two years now and haven't had any issues.

Then again, when I have them out of the pouch or not charging, they are on the back of my shirt at the neck. I haven't had the opportunity to set my phone (or even my wallet with my cards) up there.

Do you know what the magnetic strength has to be in order to affect your phone? The magnet on the Hammerhead BT is not super strong (it has a hard time staying put on collared shirts for me, and forget about actually clipping it over multiple layers of clothing).

I found a fun article about phones and magnets just now. If this is reliable, then all signs point to no.

*But I wouldn't suggest going and rubbing your Hammerhead BT magnet all over your RP2, just in case.

You'll be fine OP

Theoretically to do any sort of damage with a magnet you'd need something pretty damn strong. I'm talking neodymium level magnets.
