Razer Busy Light

In todays world, we all like to game and also work from our battle stations. The problem I’m having lately is either kids running into my home office panicking because they are out of cereal or coworkers running up to my desk with no respect to my workspace. I’ve seen a few article on people creating Raspberry PI busy lights but what if Razer made a nice customizable busy like that was controlled via Razer software?

Just picture it, Tom from finance runs up to your desk, ready to interrupt you, and your Razer busy light greets him with a red light status and states “in meeting”. Tom walks away and figures out his issue by googling it instead of asking you.

I wonder if the Razer software could talk to Microsoft teams for automatic status updates as well.

It could be used for streaming as well. In the heat of the battle while your partner has friends over? Don’t like Susan walk into your gaming area half drunk and ruin your stream by shouting “SUPPPP NERDDD”. Nobody likes a Susan while streaming (not all people named Susan are like this).

Anyways, I would love to hear your thoughts.

You have a cool idea that an employee of the financial department will not be able to interrupt you :smile_: I also thought about it, but so far I have implemented it primitively, on the laptops of the financial department and accounting. This is important for us, because we are actively expanding the business and there are many important processes, for example, the miscalculation of the feasibility of obtaining a loan via fit my money for the development of our business and it is important to be focused on work. So I pasted stickers clarifying whether the employee knew everything in order to ask a question. And it worked, I have already seen several times how employees come in to ask a question, read the sticker and silently leave.:smile_:
