Razer Core - $399 for Blade users/$499 standalone

  1. My concern is they only give order vouchers a life of 17 days, if they don't have stock by then I don't want my $100 credit to be void. Only reason I stuck with purchasing the New Blade directly from Razer and not from Amazon, Microsoft, BHPhoto, etc was the $100 credit.

Just send them an email before the coupon runs out and they will re-issue you a new one. If they don't have the Core available by the 17th they aren't just going to cancel the coupon for everyone - As the pre-order people saw, even they received discounts for waiting, and without coupons.

  3. Sounds good, I've had some trouble in the past with things like that through Razer Store regarding vouchers / coupons / etc. but this was original Blade 17 days. Thanks! (now to stalk the page for the Core stock!)

Min-Liang stated on Saturday on FB that it should open up in the next few days. Hopefully that is true! I'm in the same boat as you.

Just FYI I got my Blade from MS with 10 percent discount and Microsoft Complete and Razer gave me $100 Core credit and FL Studio license.

    Thanks Derek,

I wonder why you haven't been able to get the XPS 15 to work, and others have been able to use the NUC without any issues? Have you tried any Beta Intel Drivers? (Sorry for not reading through your thread before posting this)

I emailed the support and after providing proof of purchase and some info, they emailed me one.

Just hoping we get an email, or some kind of notification of when it will go on the store, not just a fly-by-night, it's all of a sudden on the store for 15 minutes at 6am and then sold out.
Does anyone know what they did with Stealth and Blade store availability?

Not positive but I think it has something to do with the 960m being disabled. I wish I had a notebook without a dGPU to test out

Alright guys, got the Core set up and after a couple hours, it seems to be working flawlessly. The setup was not easy at all, initially it didn't really do anything and my first call to Razer had the guy telling me it was defective and would need an RMA. Thankfully, I did my own troubleshooting, uninstalling Synapse & ThunderBolt drivers, then reloading both. It then finally started recognizing the Core. I would get more functionality as I went forward, first having to install updates to ThunderBolt, then having to install updates for Synapse, then finally run the Blade Stealth updater tool. It also took many reboots and unplugging/replugging the Core. All told, probably a good hour to an hour and a half of messing with it. Once that headache is over, it so far seems to be running really well. Going to get some games installed tonight and try it out. Here is a photo of my setup, I've never been amazing at cable management :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Wow, sounds like a big P.I.T.A. hopefully after all that, it will be stable and not more problems down the road, seems like most people ive read about have had a hard time. Makes me a bit nervous.

Set up looks great though! KUDOS

    Looks great man!

  20. Synapse had an update tonight, although it is still showing v1.20 for me which is what I had before. Maybe that will fix some issues with installing the Core?
