  1. hi,

So on the dedicated page, the Core shows once the following inner dimensions:
    Length : 11.81”/ 300 mm
    Height*: 5.12” / 130mm
    Width : 1.69” / 43mm

And if you scroll down a little is changes at once to
    GPU Max Dimensions 12.20” x 5.98” x 1.73” (310 x 152 x 44 mm)

So my MSI GTX 1080 was 14cm high and couldn't fit. I had really a hard time to get a refund
Now the Palit is 5cm wide, again no chance to fit it

So in fact so far from all the 1080 i found only the PNY that could fit in, and he makes a lot of noise, not having the "oDB tech or "Zero FroZr" features that make the ventilators fully stop at low temperature.

So i could more or less say that the Core does not fit the latest 1080
    Really deceiving!

I had the same problem with the aw amplifier, my 1080 from inno3d was just too wide
but I can't really blame them, since some companies just make their cards really bulky...
  4. You made a point...
However i disconnected the little noisy front fan of the core like almost everybody

I had a EVGA 1080 ACX 3.0 that fit in the Core without any problems, and switched to a Founder's Edition during the Best Buy price mixup and that also fits perfectly. I think it's just that some OEM's made their custom cards way too big.
